Penta

Penta is the name of the building in which participants of the Christmas Volleybal Tournament can stay during the tournament. Every year, hundreds of volleyball-players from different countries are staying here, for only 15 Euro per person. For this amount, you can stay in Penta for the whole tournament, including breakfast.

Besides having a place to sleep, you can also buy food and drinks in the "Penta-bar". Breakfast however, is free! During daytime, the canteen is open to relax. During the tournament, the organising committee stays in Penta each night! If you want to stay in Penta, please notify it with your registration.

To enter penta, you need your participants card, which will be given to you when you arrive at sportscafe De Pimpelaer. The Penta Crew may ask for an ID.

Busses can take you to the sports halls, and back to Penta. Security will be present 24 hours a day. Do you have any questions? Click on contact in the menu on the left and don't hesitate to ask what you want to know.

The Penta Crew

For the order and the security, we have the Penta Crew. Besides the security, the Penta Crew is responsible for the hygiene, the breakfast, the wake-up call, cosiness, etc., etc. You can recognize the Penta Crew by the dark-blue polo's they wear.

If you would like to be transported from Penta to a sports hall, you can order a minibus.

In relation to fire-security and other reasons, it is not allowed to smoke in Penta. By check ups, the Penta Crew will check it. It is allowed to smoke outside under the covering and outside, near the fire exit in the canteen.

Rules of the house

The building "Penta" will be open continuously from 14:00 on Tuesday the 26th until 14:00 Saturday the 30th of December.

For receiving your participants card, you will have to pay 15 Euro for your stay in Penta. This includes breakfast. At the entrance, the security will ask you to show your card as your ticket of admission. Without your card, they can't let you in, so don't lose it! In certain cases you can be asked for your ID as well.

The security will also restore order in cases of trouble. If you want to, the security can wake you up in the morning. Just tell them the time, and you won't be too late for your first game.

In the morning you can have breakfast between 6:30 and 11 o'clock. Aside from breakfast, you can also order drinks or food at the Penta-bar till far into the night.

In Penta you can also order transportation to the sports halls. Take into account that you may have to wait a moment.

The only place where it is allowed to drink alcohol is the canteen on the ground floor.

Deposit for good behaviour
The deposit for good behaviour you paid for the tournament applies also to Penta. In case of misbehaviour, this deposit will not be returned to your team.

SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED IN PENTA!!

Mind the rules of the house; they are there for a reason!
If you ignore them, the organisation will reserve the right to remove you from the building. Any damage caused by participants can be recovered by the organisation from the team to which these participants belong.
