Last year we were confronted with the fact that it is very difficult to identify how many dispensation players are in fact participating in a team. In order to have more control over this and so make the competition more equal we introduced a new rule. All players have to send a copy of their student card (for schoolteams) or a copy of their volleyball license of the national volleyball association (for clubteams). This document has to show that the person in question is registered with the school or club for the season 2005/2006.

The copies have to be at our office by the 25th of November. This can be done through post or by e-mail. In both cases the documents have to be clearly readable.

At the Century Christmas Volleyball Tournament , playing in uniform means that all players (except for the libero) have to wear the same shirt and came therefore by recognized as a team. It is not compulsory the wear the same shorts or to have numbers on the shirts.

At the Century CVT 2004 we introduced the rule of paying a deposit for playing in uniform and good behaviour. We had some discussion about what is meant by good behaviour. Therefore, we listed some examples of reasons for not returning the deposit, but these are not complete.

• Violating the rules that apply in Penta or with host families (e.g. smoking in Penta)
• Vandalism
• Unsportsmanlike behaviour, e.g. going home without telling the competition leaders when you still have to play a match
• Not playing in uniform (same shirts). This rule applies for every match including the finals.
